Which essential question and comparative text did you chose? Explain
I chose: when, if ever is it right to break the law? I chose this because I can get pleny examples from "Antigone". I am not sure what type of examples I can get from 'Warriors Don't cry" but fy reading a few pages of it I think I can get a few.

Do you think Antigone had control over her life? Explain.Godknfjdncjdnjlsnsdjcnnnccncn
I Do not think Antigone had control over her life. She did what she wanted to which was her fate. You can't fight fate.
Describe an incident when someone you knew stood up for what they believed in
I can not remember a time when someone I knew someone that stood up for what they believed in. Even though I can't remember, I think standing up for what you believe in is very important. When you stand up for what you believe in I think you become a stronger person and you start to get a sense of who you are and how you want to live your life.

Describe an example of a dramatic irony
In Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter," when Hester goes to the governor's garden to make sure that Pearl is not taken away from her, and asks the Reverend Dimmesdale to support her position. This is an example of dramatic irony because the reader knows that Dimmesdale and Hester are partners in sin, but the characters don't.

What is your tragic flaw?
My tragic flaw is that people can make me laugh when I am mad. Of course, when you are mad you don't want to laugh, you'd rather stay mad until you get over it. Unfortunately that's not the case with me. Whenever I am mad there is always someone who will try to make me laugh and wont stop until I do laugh.

Which character can you relate to most in the story Antigone?
The character I can relate to is Ismene. The reason why I can relate to her is because I like to go by the rules. I would relate to Antigone if the brother she was going to give up her life for was alive but he's not, hes dead and I think its stupid to risk your life for a dead person.

Which is more important, family or law?
In my opinion, family is more important but obeying the law is important as well. If I was put in a predicament where my mom was about to die if I did not break the law, then I would break the law. If it was a decision such as if my mom was about to get her hair shaved off if I did not break the law then I probably would not break the law, she'd just be balled.
